In Monheim, Germany, Bayer HealthCare’s scientists develop products which are subsequently manufactured in various countries throughout the world. Production plants in Shawnee, Kansas (USA) and at KVP Pharma + Veterinärprodukte GmbH in Kiel (Germany) play a key role. The key products include
flea-control medications such as Advantage®, for dogs and cats,
products against ticks,
drugs to treat infectious diseases in livestock and companion animals (Baytril®),
products to control endoparasites in pets (Drontal® and Drontal® Plus)
as well as Baycox®, the innovative product to control coccidia problems in farm animals.
